Everyone wants to sit in the front seats of the top levels of double decker busses because they offer the best view. The floor-to-ceiling glass in front, as well as the side windows, are especially helpful to tourists as they try to take in the sights of an unfamiliar city. But there are usually at most four seats in the front, and everyone else has to make do with looking out of the smaller-sized bus windows, which are often covered with advertising which further impedes the view.
Glass Balconies and Glass Stadium Seating for Busses solves this problem. The glass balconies have semicircular bench seating. The floor-to-ceiling glass is cantilevered slightly over the street in semi-circular bumps, resembling a series of Juliet balconies all along both sides of the bus. That way, more passengers have a better view. The Glass Stadium Seating is a shell of curved glass forming a dome all the way over the bus, with steep seats all facing sideways instead of facing the front. This scheme avoids neck strain in the tourists, who no longer have to turn their neck to the side in order to look out.
Both types of busses are unwieldy to drive, and require a special license. View-obstructing advertising is not permitted upon the glass.
